Part 2: The Search Begins

Today I watched Annemarie spend 18 minutes on a search for one piece of paper. It really was 18 minutes too, I timed it. She announced to the office she was looking for this document, and the search was on. She first rifled through two piles of papers on her desk and with no success moved on to the file cabinet. Drawer by drawer she searched, but four drawers later, walked away empty handed. She then went desk to desk until she finally found the document she was looking for, underneath a stack of other papers and a cup of coffee on Kevin’s desk across the office. As I watched this madness ensue, I was thinking to myself, there has to be a better system for document retrieval than this because let me tell you, by the end of those 18 minutes, I was exhausted, and I wasn’t even the one doing the searching.

Have you also suffered from document search exhaustion?

Well, I think I might have found a solution. Check this out by clicking here and let me know what you think. Leave a quick comment or tweet me @bielsDM #dantheitguy
