Buffalo: The Comeback City

Buffalonians are used to being teased between the Bills, snow, not being NYC, and the proximity to Canada. In the turn of the 20th century Buffalo was nothing to joke about. Coming in at 8th largest city, Buffalo had the most millionaires per capita. With the decline of factories in America, Buffalo also fell into decline. People left the city for a better place, better jobs, and bigger things. But today it is being restored to its former glory, fitting for New York State’s second largest city. People are returning, millennials are coming, and this is why:

Food

Buffalos food is on point-how could the inventor of the chicken wings not? But that’s not all Buffalo has to offer. The West Side is rich with ethnic foods. Visit the Southside and eat real Italian. Festivals occur all year with Saint Patrick’s Day, Dyngus Day, and the Taste of Buffalo. The Albright Knox offers world class art. Sports lovers have three pro teams and a minor league team. Meanwhile, just out side the city is beautiful ski country and beautiful parks for hiking.

And best news of all? Buffalo is becoming more economically sound. With a low cost of living and high influx of jobs, it is an affordable city to make a life in.
